The holidays are almost upon us! If you haven’t given any thought to your Christmas day meals this year, don’t fret. We have put together a last-minute menu for you. And the best part? Most of the ingredients can be collected at Spragg’s Meat Shop or are staples found right in your pantry.
Here is your complete last-minute menu for a fabulous Christmas:
Breakfast
Christmas morning breakfast is nothing short of epic! We are talking waffles and pancakes dripping in maple syrup, eggs of all types, crispy hash browns and heaps of delicious bacon. For the month of December, we have brought back our English bacon at all of our locations. Stop into our meat shop to grab a package while our supplies last (don’t forget, you can pick up eggs at our shop, too!).
Lunch
Take a break from your Christmas celebrations to enjoy a delicious lunch. While your oven, stove and slow-cooker will all be in-use preparing the incredible dinner that is to come, turn to deli meats to feed your family for lunch and serve these yummy ham and cheese sliders. Stop into Spragg’s Meat shop to visit our full-service deli counter and peruse our many fabulous options.

Dinner
It’s finally time to set the table, call your family to dinner and bring out the centrepiece of the evening! At Spragg’s Meat Shop, we may be biased, but we are big fans of celebrating Christmas day with a table full of pork! Try this maple-glazed ham this holiday. There are very few ingredients involved, and most can be found in your pantry, making it a perfect addition to your last-minute Christmas menu.

Dessert
Now that we are all stuffed full of delicious ham, we can finish the evening with some dessert! Try these maple bourbon bacon and pecan butter tarts to top off the perfect last-minute menu! They are quick to whip together, or if you have time, these can be prepared the evening before and stored in the fridge.
