If you’re not familiar with the juiciness and flavour that comes from pork tenderloin, then you’re missing out! At Spragg’s, this is one of our favourite cuts of meat! Pork tenderloin is also known as pork fillet. It’s a long cut of meat that’s very tender and cooks up perfectly! Here are 5 ways to prepare pork tenderloin:
Mix a herb paste with brown sugar, paprika, cumin, and salt, and cover all over pork. Make delicious herb sauce and set aside. Fire up the grill and cook over medium-high heat for 20 minutes, turning occasionally. Let tenderloin rest for 10 minutes, and serve with tangy herb sauce.
Create a rub of salt, ground pepper, garlic powder, and ground cinnamon. Refrigerate tenderloin for 30 minutes. Make a sauce mixture and set aside. Cut tenderloin into medallions, grill on high heat for 3-minutes per side. Brush honey sesame sauce on tenderloins, and grill additional minute on each side. Serve over rice, and you’re all set!
We love anything wrapped in bacon! Create a marinade from chilies, lime, and ginger, refrigerate for 24 hours. Wrap in bacon, and cook on 400 degrees until tenderloin reaches 140-145 degrees. Turn on the broiler for added crispness. Serve this smoky recipe with a side of delicious green beans!
Prepare squash, and rub pork with turmeric mixture. Heat skillet and sear pork, turning often, until browned on all sides (around 5 minutes). Transfer skillet to centre rack in oven and roast, flipping pork halfway through. Let rest 5 minutes, and serve with delicious salad!
Make a rub mixture with coriander, cumin, chili powder, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, caraway, and pepper, let sit for 4-24 hours. Grill pork on moderately high heat, turning occasionally, until lightly charred (about 9 minutes). Cut into thick sleeves and serve with warm grilled naan, haloumi, and yogurt! Delicious!
