Pork-Filled Dishes for a Thanksgiving Feast

Slow Cooker Ham Balls

Easy breezy! Make balls out of ground ham, cracker crumbs, minced onion, eggs, and parsley. Place balls in slow cooker. Create a sauce from brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, and water. Pour sauce over balls in crockpot. Cook on high 2-3 hours, or low 4-6 hours. Serve with cheese, French bread, and crispy crackers!

Bacon-Wrapped Turkey

Forget about salting, brining, and basting! Make bacon butter in advance. Thaw turkey. Rub turkey with bacon butter and wrap the legs and wings with bacon. Weave the bacon blanket. Place the woven blanket onto turkey breasts. Roast turkey for 30 minutes. Reduce oven temperature and roast 2-2.5 hours. Serve and enjoy!

Pork Roast with Apple Mustard Glaze

A holiday classic! Place pork in a roasting pan, and season with salt and pepper. Roast for 1 hour. Make glaze with apple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Brush pork with glaze every 15 minutes, and roast for 2 hours.

Joe’s Incredible Bacon Pumpkin Pie

Cook pumpkin in a pot for 10 minutes. Mash pumpkin, and mix in cream cheese and brown sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, half-and-half, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, and cloves. Pour batter into pie crusts. Cook bacon in a skillet. Press 7 pieces of bacon into the batter of each pie with a fork. Bake pies for 15 minutes, decrease heat, add cooked bacon to top, and bake 30 minutes.
