If you didn’t know already, Spragg’s does indeed process wild game that hunters bring in. Processing your meat can be a task, so we are happy to skin, age, and professionally prepare your meat at the right temperature, so that it’s ready to be made into your next big feast or stored away in your freezer to last you through the winter. 

Here are a few details on our process, from the minute the meat arrives at our shop to when you go and pick up your fully processed order!

It’s hunting season in Alberta, and as a province known for long hunting seasons and generous limits, it’s a popular region. Wild game meats like venison, bison, rabbit and elk are an excellent source of protein and minerals. It doesn’t get more natural, local or organic than wild meat! We love supporting hunters in their sport by providing custom processing services at our meat shop.

We process beef, pork, lamb, or wild game to your cutting specifications in Rosemary, Alberta at our meat shop. However, to make the process as convenient as possible for you, we have two drop off and pick up locations:
